Reports To:   Testing Team Leader - SW Development, Identification Systems Division
    Location:   Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
      General Objective:
        To perform software testing and validation of Identification Systems Division products and applications.
          Responsibilities:
          • Develop test plans and procedures
          • Write test scripts
          • Execute test cases
          • Troubleshoot, trying to resolve/reproduce problems
          • Test automation
          • Maintain test documentation
          • Identify, log and track issues in the system under test
          • Install and configure system components (hardware, system software)
              • Qualifications:
              • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
              • 2+ years of experience in software test planning and software quality assurance
              • Experience or knowledge of Windows and Linux
              • Good analytical and high quality documentation skills
              • Strong communication skills in English (other languages are additional assets)
              • Knowledge or experience in RDBMS will be an asset
              • Possess a genuine interest in testing, career progression and improving personal QA knowledge
              • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
              • Self motivated and action oriented team player
              • Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
              • Eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance
