Due to recent legislative changes such as the Data Breach Disclosure law and the upcoming European legislation (GDPR) organisations have seen an increase in the number of questions concerning privacy and data breach disclosures.

We assist organisations setting up their processes in such a way that they are able to comply to laws and regulations. We address the legal consequences of these legislations in close cooperation with our legal partner Louwers Advocaten. By doing so we are able to not only take the technical aspects in consideration but also work within the legal frameworks. This combination is highly desirable when clients are for instance planning a Cloud migration. Organisations tend to look at this from a solely technical perspective and ignore the fact that privacy and the new possibilities of the Cloud do not always go together. When there is also an international aspect involved it is impossible to ignore the legal issues involved.

In some cases we offer one of our own consultants to fulfil the role of (interim) security officer, privacy officer or compliance offer. This is always for a longer period of time and he helps organisations with the implementation of privacy or security processes. We are also able to conduct ‘quickscans’ on these topics. These quickscans give a clear insight, within a limited timeframe and budget, into your current position and the most important improvements.
