As a student, you have:

Education:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field).

Soft skills:

• Passion for cybersecurity;
• Interest in standards, legislation and technical documentation;
• Ability to work well in an international team environment;
• Good communication skills, self-organization;
• Clear documentation writing skills.

Technical skills:

• Basic skills with Microsoft Excel;
• Basic programming skills (Microsoft VBA).

The project you will be working on:

At Secura International service line we work with customers all across Europe and in different sectors. These customers are often confused and overwhelmed by the existing and upcoming cybersecurity legislation which can be EU wide, national or even sectorial. This landscape generates doubts about applicability and need for compliance both in big and small, simple and complex organizations.

Determining applicability case by case is a time consuming task, for that reason Secura is looking for a talented and motivated individual that can help us to create a tool to automate that process. Given certain information about a company the tool will provide every legislation, standard or norm that could apply, considering factors such as sector, location and others.

As an intern, you will be responsible for the following:

• Take the set of requirement for the tool and produce a first idea and project plan
• Create the data model and the information required from any given company
• Research a given subset of legislation and create the logic that will determine applicability based on company information

Integrate all of this into a tool that can be later expanded with legislation from other countries or sectors.
